Patrick O'Shea is a multi-award winning writer/director who has worked on productions in New York, Ireland, Denmark, the UK and Luxembourg.
Patrick directed ‘Ireland’s Hidden Treasures’ (2024) a 3 part factual series for RTÉ One and he wrote and directed 2 series of 'Scéalta Grá na hÉireann' (Ireland's Greatest Loves) (2023, 2021), a 2x 6 part documentary series for TG4, ‘Biseach Ón Ailse’ (A Cure for Cancer) (2023) for TG4, the Wilbur and Radharc Award winning 'The Cork Nativity' (2020), a Christmas Special for RTÉ 1 (Ireland's national broadcaster) and he directed 'Battle of the Christmas Lights' (2021) for Virgin Media One.
His feature documentary, 'Why is there anything instead of nothing' featured in Variety and The Times and premiered on Sky Arts in February 2018. He has a number of award winning short films on Amazon Prime Video that are represented by Hewes Pictures in New York City.
