Southernman Films is a leading Irish film and video production company based in Cork, in the South of Ireland. We produce films, promotional, corporate and training videos across Ireland and beyond.

We regularly produce promotional video material for Heineken Ireland, Murphy's Irish Stout, Beamish Irish Stout and Owen Fitzpatrick International. We can provide a full production service, a stand alone camera team and/or a complete editing service.

Southernman Films was set up and is run by writer/director Patrick O'Shea, a multi-award winning filmmaker who has worked on films from New York to Luxembourg, Denmark to the UK and all over Ireland.

Patrick's debut feature documentary, 'Why is there anything instead of nothing' featured in Variety and The Times and premiered on Sky Arts in February 2018. He also has a number of award winning short films on the Amazon Prime VOD platform.

Patrick is a regular factual TV director for Bo Media and he writes and directs films, music videos and promotional content. Patrick has broadcast credits on Sky Arts, RTÉ, TG4, Virgin Media, Aer Lingus Trans-Atlantic and Amazon Prime.
