TREE KEEPER
'Tree Keeper' is an independent feature film which was shot in County Cork in the south of Ireland. It is a gripping thriller about a young man's struggle to protect the woodlands he inherited from his father from being developed as a landfill site.
'Tree Keeper' tells the story of Doire, a man in his twenties who inherits a hundred acres of woodland when his father dies. A solitary and reclusive figure, Doire decides the best way to protect his inheritance is to make a home for himself deep in the woods. In his isolation in the woods Doire is unaware that his estranged mother has contested his father's will and has been granted ownership of the woodlands. Doire soon discovers that his woods are to be developed as a landfill site and realizes that he must do whatever it takes to protect what he loves the most.
